Halfway House (RRC) Advocacy
Under the Second Chance Act, people in federal custody can be placed in a Residential Reentry Center (RRC) — a halfway house — for up to 12 months, and in some cases home confinement on top of that. In practice, many are given far less. We help families identify the earned time credits, referrals, and paperwork that make the case for a longer, closer, and better-planned placement.
Turning Point Advocacy is not a law firm and does not guarantee any specific placement decision by the Bureau of Prisons.
Sentence computation & FTC audit
We review BOP records to confirm First Step Act earned time credits are being applied so RRC eligibility isn't cut short.
